The project concentrated on testing structural elements viability through abstract physical models interacting with light; a conceptual experiment using a highly industrial, recyclable material; Aluminum. First inspiration was the fibonacci concept forming natural elements around us, like the sunflower. Models were made studying the form, the mathematical linear growth and area growth of the fibonacci equation. Second study was crystalline structure forming carbon and diamond, models were made from the components forming diamond and carbon showing contradictions in appearance but similarity in structure. The last study and model was on the abstraction of a palm tree into vertical and horizontal  planes where the shadow of the abstract model forms a silhouette of a palm tree.
